How to get there: José Martí International Airport in Havana. Note that there are no regular buses or trains between the airport and the city center. You can organize an airport transfer to the base (duration about 3h30).
The second international airport is Antonio Maceo, in Santiago de Cuba.
Documentation: A valid passport of at least six months of validity and a tourist card is required (to be requested at the Cuban consulate of your country). A tax of 25 cuban convertible pesos (CUC) must be paid at the airport before boarding.
Other useful information: It is not advisable to drink tap water. The introduction to the island of devices such as satellite phones, GPS and DVD player is strictly regulated.
