1. BUDGET

The newest yachts are some months old and a maximum of three years old and the oldest are ten years old.
When choosing a destination, you should also consider the extra costs during the rental of the boat. Some expenses such as supplies, marine and fuel, or in the case of hiring a skipper, are not included.
2.SPACE
The space and length of the catamaran have a lot to do with your budget. Depending on the number of people travelling, you can choose between different layouts. Using a convertible saloon or sharing bathrooms will be more affordable than using private cabins and bathrooms.
If you are looking for extra comfort, opt for a spacious lounge and deck by renting a catamaran of greater length, which will also mean more speed when sailing. In case of sailing with children, you may be interested in renting a boat with bunk cabins but if you are a group of couples you will probably prefer double cabins with ensuite bathroom.

3.DINGHY
The dinghy plays an important role in your boat rental. You will use it for shore excursions, go snorkelling or get to the beach bars. Make sure the dinghy of your catamaran has an adequate size for your group and a powerful engine to take you all.
4.ENTERTAINMENT
Get the most out of your sailing holiday by renting a boat that provides water toys; snorkeling gear, paddle board, kayaks, fishing rods, .. Not all catamaran charter offer this equipment, so remember to ask. If you want to listen to music or watch television, you should check if the boat has any sound equipment or screen (CD, MP3, USB, TV,..)
5.EXTRAS
Towels, sheets, kitchen equipment, welcome pack, air conditioning, cushions on deck, water generator, etc. Some catamarans have additional extras to provide a more luxurious experience. Do not hesitate to ask for any extra equipment that you would like to enjoy during your holidays in order to make the best choice of your catamaran.
Another extra to consider can be the Wi-Fi connection. Although this type of holidays is ideal to get away and relax, sometimes for work or family reasons connections are necessary.
