Most of the tropical storms in the Pacific basin that form during the hurricane season (June-October) typically pass south of La Paz and south of the Baja California peninsula. Currents can be strong in narrow steps, but in general, they are not a problem.

How to arrive: La Paz is located in the northwest of Mexico in the State of Baja California Sur. This destination is in communication with the rest of Mexico thanks to the main highway of the State as well as by its Manuel Márquez de León International Airport, about 9km southwest of the city. There are flights from the United States and the main cities of Mexico served by Aeroméxico and others.
Airport-to-base transfers are recommended, and travel time is approximately 14 minutes.
