Yacht Charter in San Blas Islands
The most beautiful and spectacular tourist destination of Panama is located along the Caribbean Coast; the 365 islands of the archipelago of San Blas are true landscapes of postcards with beaches of white sand, coconut trees and turquoise waters.
Established in 1938 as an autonomous Indian territory, the “Kuna Yala region” with its simple beauty, its generous inhabitants and its exceptional primary forests offer a wonderful sailing holiday away from mass tourism.
In the archipelago, surrounded by the San Blas mountain range, you will enjoy a solitary anchor in front of a desert island with a background of mountains.
During a kayaking trip up the Diablo or Manglar river, you can run into toucans, sea eagles, herons, woodpeckers or spider monkeys and even crocodiles.
The best area to cruise is located between Rio Diablo (Corazon de Jesus) and Porvenir: the waters are calm mainly thanks to the reef protection of Chichime and Hollandes and the turquoise waters meet the marine blue colors.
A two-week cruise thotugh San Blas islands is the best way to discover this archipelago and its Kuna Indians, but you can also get a good idea of the traditional life of this region in a week or 10 day cruise.
